Gareth Jones, DJ-in-chief
Based in Bristol, Gareth has a long history of DJing, with residencies at Bath's Moles Club (10 years), Bristol's Thekla (4 years) and spots at various venues around Bristol including The Lanes, Start The Bus, Big Chill, Bristol University Anson Rooms, The Cube cinema and Stag & Hounds. He also devised a monthly club night upstairs at Bristol's oldest pub The Hatchet called Lipstick On Your Collar which specialised in only playing songs by female vocalists. The night spawned its own national comic book series called Phonogram, illustrated by Marvel Comics cartoonist Jamie McKelvie. Gareth has also DJd twice at the annual Indietracks festival in Derbyshire and had guest stints at London venues including The Lexington and Buffalo Bar.
Gareth was soon approached for bookings at weddings and parties, including a private party for a Doctor Who writer! Deciding to step away from the club world, Gareth now hopes you will choose him for your wedding or special occasion. His promise is to avoid the usual party anthem cliches (YMCA and The Macarena can take a hike!) and instead offer you a night of quality music, but still with a broad appeal

Gareth will always meet you in person or chat by phone or Skype prior to a booking. It's important to him (and hopefully to you) to discuss your music needs. If he isn't the right DJ for you Gareth will be more than happy to put you in touch with other DJs, it's important you gel. But if you're happy he will tailor your tastes to make the perfect soundtrack to your special day and also keep your guests happy and up on the dance floor.
